Bajan Moore has always understood music as a form of service. Long before the stage, there were affirmations, poems, and songs written to remind people of their own strength. Singing became the most direct way to deliver that message.
She grew up in Monroe, Louisiana, in a house full of harmony: both her mother and her father came from musical backgrounds and sang in quartets. She later trained formally in voice at Sacramento City College and privately with Janice Kelly, Ana G's Vocal Studio, and Dina Lalkaka, and she has now been singing for more than twenty years.
Her repertoire moves between New Thought music, jazz standards, and rhythm & blues classics, but the through-line never changes: every performance is built to leave people feeling more hopeful and more connected than when they walked in.
Today she sings for spiritual communities across Northern California, weddings, corporate gatherings, and private celebrations, anywhere a live voice can change how a room feels. She has performed on The Smooth Jazz Cruise and sings with Soul Vibration, The Ultimate SADE Tribute.
